La Mancha's Mano a Mano winery is impressively surrounded by 300 hectares of old Tempranillo (locally known as Cencibel) vines at an altitude of 660m above sea level. The deep,sandy soils produce incredibly low yields here - just 1-2kg per vine. The wine spends 3 months ageing in oak barriques before bottling.
Wild black cherry and light herbal aromas. Pure black fruit on the palate with sweet spice and ripe tannins. Well-structured with fresh balancing acidity and huge appeal.
Fantstic with roast lamb dishes or spicy sausage casseroles.
