Our company
TasteTurkey is a company created by Mark Hopkins in 2007 to generate sales exclusively for Turkish wines via an online retail shop; the shop soon became the most popular site for Turkish wines in the UK with the largest collection of Turkish Wines in the UK. From 1997- 2012, Mark was engaged to develop the Efes Pilsen brand, introducing Efes to UK mainstream markets. Kavaklidere, Doluca and Mey Icki also came under his control while he successfully developed a core Turkish drinks range and now has an in-depth knowledge of the Turkish drinks market within the UK.
TasteTurkey Ltd has later joined forces with a new Co-Director David Walkden from Glug drinks Ltd and Phizz Ltd, forming a group of specialist drinks operators with UK and export sales operations.

With specialist service providers, we operate from a central London Warehouse with national distribution capabilities for orders of any size.
Warehouse Services
The warehouses and their IT systems are approved by HM Revenue & Customs, meeting the strictest conditions required for ‘under bond’ or duty paid storage, as required. Stocks are held in the London warehouse for logistical convenience, and relevant to the type of service we require. The warehouse offer the same facilities for order picking – from an individual bottle to a full load of 24 pallets.
Warehouse Security
Each building is protected through integrated physical and electronic surveillance systems. All units have fire alarms which, coupled with the other protection devices, are subject to continual off site monitoring using Red Care/GSM communication technology to a central station. Data is backed up several times a day, and held off site in a separate secure building.
