This wine is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Öküzgözü and Boğazkere. Öküzgözü grape is grown in Elazığ region near the Euphrates River bringing freshness and flavor like raspberry and cherry. Boğazkere grape is grown on the southern slopes of Toros Mountains facing the high Mesopotamia plateau.
The multiply award winning wine is a lovely deep ruby colour. This vintage has black fruit aromas, with hints of smoke and spicy touches. On the palate, there is a very good density of finely textured tannins with a long spicy finish. A complex yet elegant full bodied quality wine.
Grapes: Syrah, Petit Verdot & Cabarnet Franc.
Çalkarası is grown exclusivelly in Çal District of Denizli. As a variety it is very suitable for producing high quality rose wines due to its strong flavours present in the fruit also balanced with good acidity.
It is the name of Sevilen Vineyards, which was established on Guney Plateau, at 900 metres above sea level. This wine is single vineyard (estate wine) and high-segment (for which good agricultural practices are conducted) and limited-production.
